November 21, 2008: Game Lecture Series, IT University of Copenhagen. I'll be giving a a talk about game innovation and recent projects made at the Game Innovation Lab.
October 9-12, 2008: Meaningful Play 2008, East Lansing, Michigan. I'll be giving a keynote speech at the 2008 Meaningful Play Conference.
October 2, 2008: Art Center Nabi, Digital Media Art Forum. I'll be presenting (via Second Life) on the Night Journey project and the Game Innovation Lab.
September 27, 2008: Kyungsung University, Busan, Korea. I'll be giving an invited talk to the School of Digital Content and Graduate School of Digital Design.
September 26, 2008: Entertainment Meets Technology Symposium, Seoul, Korea. I'll be presenting at this symposium organized by the Graduate School of Information and Media Management (KSIM) of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
September 24, 2008: Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Mexico City. I'll be giving an invited talk to the Computer Science Graduate Program.
August 12, 2008: Values in Design Workshop, Santa Clara. I'll be co-leading a game design workshop with Mary Flanagan at the 2008 Graduate Student Workshop, Values In Computer Information Systems Design.
July 27-29 2008: Microsoft Research Faculty Summit, Seattle. I'll be attending this summit organized around sharing of current research in a lot of different areas including: human-computer interaction, gaming, mobility, and technologies for education.
June 2-4, 2008: Games for Change, New York, NY. I'll be speaking on a panel: "Values@Play at Work in the Classroom" and giving feedback on the concepts developed at the MacArthur sponsored workshop "Let the Games Begin: 101 Workshop on Making Social Issue Games".
April 10 - 11, 2008: Game Developers Exchange, Atlanta, GA. I'll presenting on "Game Innovation and the Potential of Play."
